1709, I'm not sure it's fair for use to expect that ASUS needs to do anything. It spits this out instead ' Please connect the ASUS Wireless Adapter to your computer before running the utility. Once I installed the drivers and the utilities I tried running the utility to set it up. I tried all the slots for it on my sabertooth z77 motherboard. With this evidence, can't we safely assume this is a Microsoft issue? If everything works fine before and after Windows 10 v. So I have purchased a new PCE-AC68 and I ad installed it. The latest ASUS driver (Version 2.1.4.3) and card work fine with Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 17025 and later. Shame :-( Im on Windows 8.1 too and it worked for me - I use drivers mentioned above 6.30.223.228 ( no problems with clicking network tab on picture above or with PCE-AC68 utility. Some with Intel CPUs have reported problems as well, but this is likely a separate issue/root cause. I returned the unit to Amazon and got a brand new one manufactured in 2014 and it has the same problem. This issue impacts those with a PCE-AC68 wireless card AND an AMD CPU who have upgraded to Windows 10 Fall Creators (version 1709). I bought the Asus PCE-AC68 wireless adapter and from the beginning it had been making an annoying sound when it is active, especially when its doing heavy download/uploads. Keep me honest here, but I believe the efforts of all on this thread have shown that: I have tried a number of different drivers and can't really get anything to work. It seems pretty much any PCE wifi adapter that runs off the Broadcom BCM4360 (TP Link, Rosewill, etc.) are pretty much fucked on the Fall Creators Update if you have an AMD CPU.
